As you may be aware, on Monday, April 6 there was a break in the main water line causing the MAC and Health Science Pavilion to be without running water. This break was identified and repaired during the late evening of Monday, April 6.
Once a water line is repaired, samples must be tested to ensure purity and quality standards are met. There is a 24-hour waiting period for this process.
If the water tests are approved, the MAC will open on Wednesday, April 8 at 12 noon. If the water tests are not approved, additional cleaning and flushing will occur and new water samples will be taken for testing. If this is the case, we will provide further updates as they become available.
