The annual State of Nursing celebration presented milestones of the nursing profession over the past 150 years, and showcased the many ways that Sparrow Nurses continue to improve Patient care and raise the bar of excellence for their profession. Their accomplishments continue to advance Sparrow’s recognition as a national leader in quality and Patient experience.
RNICU earned the Nursing Innovation Award for their staff-driven efforts to create and follow a best practice small baby protocol that reduces the rates of intraventricular hemorrhage.
PACU earned the Nursing Excellence Award for their staff-driven efforts to create and follow a best practice policy regarding epidural catheters and blood patches.
