Sparrow Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Elizabeth Henry was surprised at a special Nursing Leadership meeting today where she was thanked for her contributions to nursing at Sparrow.
Elizabeth is retiring in January after serving since 2000 at Sparrow. During the event, Sparrow Nurses and Leaders got the chance to speak about the great impact Elizabeth has had on them.
Under her strong leadership, Sparrow has earned recognition as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credential Center, an honor only held by about 6 percent of American Hospitals. Click here to read more about our Nurse Magnet designation.
