IONIA, MI – Sparrow Ionia Hospital has honored one of its caregivers with the BEE Award for going above and beyond in her position.
Nominated by fellow caregivers, Patient Access caregiver Dawn Graham received the BEE Award for her exceptional care towards patients and continual willingness to assist colleagues. Graham has worked at Sparrow Ionia since 2016.
“Dawn is a valued member of the team,” said Angela Keehn, Patient Access Manager at Sparrow Ionia Hospital. “She goes the extra mile by helping to strip beds and other tasks the nurses may need assistance doing, all while maintaining top-notch customer service and accurate registrations.”
The BEE Award recognizes excellence among the clinical support caregivers who work alongside nursing teams to deliver quality, compassionate care. BEE is an acronym for Be Exceptional Every day. Acknowledging the strength behind teamwork, the BEE Award is often given in conjunction with the DAISY Award to symbolize the relationship between nursing and clinical support caregivers - the same way bees and flowers depend on one another.
