Sparrow facility projects. Building a healthy future.

Published: Oct. 25, 2013

At Sparrow, one of our guiding principles is to provide comfortable, modern, and accessible facilities that offer healthy environments to encourage healing and recuperation.

Over the next few years a series of new construction and renovation projects, both on and off campus, will offer the latest technology and modern facilities in convenient locations to better meet the changing needs of our region.

A new website, BuildingSparrow.org, has been developed to serve as a communications hub for our facilities projects, allowing Caregivers, Patients and Visitors to follow our progress.

Communications, signage, and lobby flyers feature a QR code (pictured at left) that can be scanned with a smartphone app to launch BuildingSparrow.org on mobile devices. There you'll find project fact sheets, the latest updates, photos, and information on accessing Sparrow services affected by construction.

Projects include a new Sparrow Ionia Hospital, an addition to the Sparrow Clinton Emergency Department, the construction of a new Grand Ledge Ambulatory building, a new Sparrow Clinic at Volunteers of America, and the build-out of Tower floors 7 and 8. And we recently celebrated the completion of the new Sparrow Neurosciences Center on Tower floors 9 and 10.

Our work to build a healthy future will span several years, so be sure to follow new developments and improvements at BuildingSparrow.org.
