Sparrow Hospice Services honored Patient William H. Cunningham and thanked him for his service to his country when he served in the U.S. Army in the 1960s.

During a small ceremony at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Cunningham was presented with pins from Sparrow Caregiver and Vietnam War veteran Jim Mandeville and representatives from the Michigan Veterans for Foreign Wars.

The special honor is part of the We Honor Veterans Committee started by Mandeville, Clinical Manager of Hospice House, to honor veterans at Hospice House. American flags also mark the doors of other veterans at the facility.
