That’s why it announced an innovative, fast-turnaround service at both Sparrow Carson and Eaton hospitals where patients can expect to receive their mammography results in less than 48 hours (in some cases as quickly as the day of their screening) through their MySparrow account.
“Being able to receive expedited results can really ease the mind and make the process far less intimidating for our patients,” says Danielle Hunt, Nurse Navigator at Sparrow Eaton Hospital.
Sparrow is eager to ensure patients know they are able to get quick results, close to home at these two community hospital locations.
“Getting the results back as soon as possible just means a layer of relief if it’s negative, or even if it’s positive and there is something to be done we could get on it and take care of it right away,” says mammography patient Mindy D., who asked not to use her last name.
