About the Department
Our UM Health-Sparrow Nephrology team provides diagnosis and treatment for patients with medical diseases involving the kidneys. With one in three Americans at risk for kidney disease, our team actively works to maintain kidney function and prevent progression of disease.
As your kidney advocates, the team of physicians and nurse practitioners supports the patient’s primary care provider and the patient throughout their medical journey, including treatment of chronic kidney disease and resistant hypertension, kidney stones, fluid balance issues, and electrolyte imbalances. We are always advocating for every patient’s kidney health and assisting, when necessary, with renal replacement therapy and/or through renal transplant.
