Structural Heart Program

Structural Heart Program

Treat your heart valve disease at UM Health-Sparrow

UM Health-Sparrow was the first complete structural program in Mid-Michigan and the first to bring TAVR to our patients.  With over 550 Trans Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVR's) performed, the Structural Heart Disease team at UM Health-Sparrow are leaders in treatment alternatives for patients with valvular heart disease, atrial fibrillation and septal defects. We are experienced and dedicated to improving survival and patient quality of life for issues with the internal functions of the heart – meaning the valves or walls separating the chambers of the heart.

We are experts in Mitral Clips, TAVR, and more. If you suffer from valvular heart disease, a heart murmur, an atrial septal defect, "hole in the heart", aortic stenosis or valve or septum issues, we're here to provide the best care and treatment for you.
